The seaside town of Granville is the entrance To the “Route la Baie” with the beaches of Saint Pair Sur Mer, Jullouville, Carrolles, Saint Jean-Le-Thomas and the pretty little villages of Genets, Vains / Saint-Leonard.

Avranches is the entrance to the Baie of Mont St Michel and following the coast road (D43) around the bay brings you to Mont St Michel.

From Pontorson just below Mont St Michel take the D797 around the bay on route to St Malo. The beaches of Cancale are signposted as you near St Malo.

The view point of “Pointe du Grouin” is on the extreme peninsular where you can stop take a walk and relax with a drink or meal.
